  Workshops/Projects 

 

Write:Words – I was one of six writers chosen to lead a series of workshops aimed at teachers, to encourage confidence in writing creatively. 2002-3 
 

24:8 – 24 writers from the East Midlands were chosen to produce commissioned writing based on the region, and to deliver a series of readings in small groups around the region.  My commissioned poems were based on the National Space Centre, Leicester. 2003 
 

Behind the Scenes – workshops for the general public, using spaces not usually on public display as resources for creative writing. I have run workshops using toys and domestic objects, a manor house and its setting, and reserve collections of books as stimuli. (2004, Barrow upon Soar Museum Reserve; 2005, Donington Manor; 2006, Leicestershire Library Reserve.) 
 

Inky Fish - a group of nine poets who delivered themed group readings.

Write:Muse – six local writers were chosen to devise and deliver a series of workshops aimed at education providers, using museum resources and works of art as stimuli for creative writing. Resources included paintings, recycled objects, sculptures, costumes and natural history collections. 2005-2007
